I have always been enamored with small islands. The mystery, the thrill, and the miniaturized sense of adventure were all things that spoke to me on a level beyond mere "childhood naivety". I wouldn't be surprised in the least if this flame is what subconsciously pulled me towards a later life in Japan. It has most recently manifested itself in Far Cry 3; acting as a delicious hors d'oeuvres to the ironically apt full course "Skyrim with guns" meal on offer.
